Terms and conditions of engagement and payment

1. Quotations are made on 30-day terms. Post 30 days the pricing will require review. If works have not begun within 120 days of accepting the quotation, re pricing will be required.

2. Engaging Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd in works or excepting a quotation is a legal acceptance of all our stated terms and conditions including any terms and conditions not stated here but addressed on our invoice or quotations.

3. Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd endeavours to cover everything in their quotations; however, due to the nature of our works, unforeseen variations sometimes occur. If a variation is required, clients will be notified of any extra costs before proceeding.

  1. Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd holds the right to request payment of variations prior to beginning the works.
  2. Variations to quoted works, either verbal or written, will be stipulated in invoicing.
  3. Unless otherwise stated, quotations do not allow for any patching or painting.


4. Invoices are issued under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act of 1999.

5. Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd holds the right to issue progress payments and / or deposit invoices throughout a construction process. These payments can be issued at stages throughout a project such as but not limited to:

  • Underground completion.
  • Power to site established.
  • Temporary power set ups.
  • Rough in of buildings.
  • Cut out and stripping of cabling post plaster or wall cover being installed.
  • Final installation of electrical components.
  • Pauses in works for any reason.


6. Prior to receiving full payment of invoices,

  1. Materials remain property of Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd
  2. No warranty works of any kind will be undertaken
  3. Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd hold the right to terminate any ongoing contracts and invoice for any outstanding works.
  4. Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd maintain the right to pause any works ongoing if there are overdue invoices outstanding. This includes variations and progress payments.


7. All payments must be made within payment terms and adhere to the terms and conditions

  1. Payment is due 7 days from invoice date unless otherwise stipulated on the invoice.
  2. If otherwise stipulated, then payment must be made within these payment terms.


8. Any issues with the invoiced amount must be brought to the attention of concept electrical in writing before the due date. These must be submitted either via email to admin@conceptelectricalnsw.com or via registered post to 683 Jones St ALBURY, NSW 2640. Failing to do either of these will be noted as acceptance of the invoiced amount and terms of invoicing.


9. Outstanding invoices will incur administration charges

  1. These fees will be incurred one month post invoice due date.
  2. Fees will begin at $100 per fortnight and will be additional to the original invoiced amount.
  3. These fees will be stop accruing once the full payment including any additional administration fees has been received into the nominated bank account provided.
  4. Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd hold the right to increase the admin fee amount however this will not be undertaken without written notification.


10. If a payment plan is required, this must be discussed and agreed upon in writing by senior management, prior to the invoice due date.

11. Client is liable for all costs incurred due to action taken by Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd or nominated representative of Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd to gain payment of any overdue invoices.

  1. Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd offer a lifetime labour only, works warranty. This warranty only comes into effect if works undertaken did not comply with the AS3000 or any governing electrical rules that apply at the time of installation. Evidence of this must be provided by an electrical inspector or governing body. If you believe this to be the case, please contact us for further clarification.


12. Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd offer a full parts and labour warranty for the first 12 months post installation on materials supplied by concept electrical NSW Pty Ltd where a recognised fault has occurred.

  1. This warranty begins from the date of installation.
  2. All parts will be covered under their own supplier’s warranty.
  3. If Concept Electrical NSW Pty Ltd are required to replace a fitting under warranty but post the initial 12-month parts and labour warranty expiry, this may incur labour costs.


13. Certificate of Electrical Compliance (CCEW) will be issued post receiving the final payment for the project. Prior to this, works will be considered not complete and therefore no CCEW will be issued.
